White House Announces 23 Executive Orders To Curb Gun Violence

Today at a press conference in Washington, D.C., Joe Biden announced that he and President Obama have completed or made significant progress on 21 of 23 new executive orders to curb gun violence.

The announcement came as a signal that that, despite the failure of background-check legislation to pass in the Senate in April, the President and his administration will not back down on this issue until significant changes have been made to ensure a tragedy like Newtown cannot happen ever again.

Biden highlighted the new plans the government will be offering to primary and secondary schools, as well as places of worship, on how to respond should they ever face an active shooter situation. Click through to see the full list of executive actions on the White House's website.
